Privacy Policy

CheerJudge ("we", "our", the "App") is operated by the CheerJudge team. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact: support@cheerjudgeapp.com.

1. What we collect

• Videos you submit for analysis. When you analyze a clip, the video is securely transmitted to our AI processing provider (Google's Gemini API) to generate your scores and feedback.
• Your profile answers. During setup you tell us a first name and details about your cheer training (role, level, age division, goals, target skills, training frequency, and optionally a competition date). This is stored locally on your device and used to personalise the app. We never transmit it to our servers.
• Analysis results and app activity. Your scores, badges, competitions, and settings are stored locally on your device.
• Basic technical data. Standard diagnostic information (device type, app version, crash reports) to keep the App working.

We do not require an account, and we do not collect your surname, email address, date of birth, precise location, or contacts. The first name you enter stays on your device — it is only used to personalise what you see in the app.

2. How videos are handled

• Videos are used only to generate your analysis. We do not sell them, use them for advertising, or share them with anyone other than our AI processing provider as needed to provide the service.
• Processing is performed by Google's Gemini API under Google's API data-use terms. Videos transmitted for analysis via the paid API are not used by Google to train their models.
• Analysis results are stored on your device. You can delete any analysis (including its video) at any time inside the App.

3. Children's privacy

CheerJudge is designed for use by athletes, parents, and coaches. Many cheer athletes are under 13 — we ask that a parent, guardian, or coach operates the App and submits videos on behalf of athletes under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at support@cheerjudgeapp.com and we will delete it.

4. Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment details.

5. Data retention and deletion

• Analyses, videos, and your profile answers live on your device and are deleted when you delete them or uninstall the App.
• You can edit or clear your profile answers at any time in the App's Settings.
• To request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App, email support@cheerjudgeapp.com.

6. Important disclaimer

CheerJudge is a practice and training tool. Scores, deductions, and legality assessments are AI-generated estimates for educational purposes only. They are not official competition scores, and final skill-legality decisions always rest with event producers and certified judges.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be noted in the App or on this page.
